Spec-driven Development

Software in weeks. Not months.

Our software development studio in Hamburg - serving all of Germany, fully remote - runs on spec-driven development and a team of specialised AI agents, delivering high-quality software dramatically faster, without compromising architecture, maintainability or quality.

Fast doesn't mean cut-rate

Built faster - not sloppier.

The speed doesn't come from cutting corners - it comes from AI agents doing the legwork while a human owns every architecture decision.

Spec first

Every feature is defined as a precise, testable spec before a single line of code - no guesswork.

Agents build

AI agents implement the spec and test against it - in parallel, without fatigue. That's the time you save.

A senior owns it

An experienced human reviews, decides the architecture, and puts their name to it. That's the quality.

Mechanism

How we make that possible

The difference is in how we work, not in cutting corners on quality.

What the work looks like

Many agents, one human in the lead

Instead of typing line by line, we orchestrate several AI agents in parallel - one each for product, design, build and quality. Visible in terminals, every step reviewable and traceable.

Agentic Coding

A team of specialised AI agents handles the actual programming work - fast, but always under a human's professional oversight. Not automated guesswork, just noticeably more speed with the same care.

Spec-driven Development

The specification is our shared foundation - not a rigid contract set in stone. We sharpen it in fast rounds instead of defining everything up front and hoping. That saves costly misunderstandings and rework.

How we work, in detail

Iteration

The iteration loop

Instead of settling everything up front and hoping for the best, we work in short rounds: build, check, sharpen. Each round makes the specification more precise - until the feature is right.

  1. 01

    Specify

We draft a first, thoroughly reviewed specification together - deliberately a starting point, not a rigid contract.

  2. 02

    Build

Our AI agents build exactly the current specification - quickly and under professional oversight.

  3. 03

    Review

A human reviews the result, functionally and technically - this is where control sits. Every finding flows straight back into the specification.

Repeat until it fits

When the spec fits

Ship

Once the specification fits, the feature goes live - faster than traditional development allows.

The team

Who is “we”?

This site says “we” a lot. Behind it stands one human - accountable for every decision - and a team of specialised AI agents, each with a clear role. For you that means: one dedicated point of contact, short paths, and quality that a named person stands behind.

Founder & Lead

20+ years in software - from engineer (RWTH Aachen) to cloud architect at Accenture Industry X, certified as a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Today I research and build spec-driven, agentic workflows. I own direction, specification and sign-off - and I'm your direct point of contact. Every line that ships passes through me.

Common questions

What you'll want to know

The questions SME decision-makers ask us most often - answered clearly, without the jargon.

What do “agentic coding” and “spec-driven development” actually mean?

In short: a team of specialised AI agents does the actual coding - guided by a precise specification we define together, with an experienced developer reviewing and standing behind every result. That makes software faster without losing control. We explain both terms in depth, with examples, on our “How we work” page.

How does working together look - are we involved?

As closely as you like. Working out the requirements and critically pressure-testing the ideas can run as a short, fully remote workshop: you, the developer and the AI agents sharpen the specification together in real time. No black box - you see ideas take shape and get challenged against best practices, and you decide along the way.

How can software development be faster and cheaper at the same time?

Most of what makes traditional software development slow isn't the thinking - it's the legwork: writing code, testing, repeating. AI agents take on exactly that work, in parallel and without fatigue. Less effort means fewer hours, and fewer hours means lower cost. A human still makes every architectural decision.

Does quality or maintainability suffer because of the speed?

No. The speed comes from automating routine work, not from cutting corners. Every change is tested against the specification, and a senior developer reviews the architecture and code before anything goes live. You get maintainable, documented code - not a throwaway prototype.

Am I working with a real person or just an AI?

You have one dedicated, personal contact: Remington Vörtmann, founder and lead, with over 20 years of experience. He owns direction, specification and sign-off. The AI agents are tools working in the background - a human carries the responsibility.

Is my data handled in line with GDPR?

Yes - from the ground up. The website and contact form run on a server in Germany, we self-host our fonts (no Google Fonts), and our anonymous analytics are cookieless on EU servers - so there's no cookie banner. Exactly what we store is laid out in our privacy policy.

What kinds of projects is this approach suited to?

This approach to software development suits SaaS products, mobile apps, websites and custom software - from first idea to finished application. It pays off especially when speed matters or the budget is tight, and you don't want to compromise on quality.
